After being bombarded with countless Snuggie advertisements, you'd think I'd know what they were. I had images of oversized fleece nighshirts draping over me like a tent, but I was wrong. They are like blankets with sleeves, meaning they sit on top of me and I stick my arms through the sleeves. My back remains not fully covered, except for the bed or couch I sit in and what bit of Snuggie I manage to wrap behind me. Because the Snuggie isn't closed in the back, it's not very easy to walk around in. I need to keep it by the couch for when I need it.
The material in my leopard print Snuggie is cozy but lightweight. If I'm not carefully wrapped up, cold air finds its way underneath and I get chilly.
The booklight is a bonus feature. It's lightweight and compact and even comes with batteries. It unfolds to give decent light, but the head isn't adjustable. I found it doesn't actually work well clipped to a book but rather clipped to the neck of my Snuggie and pointed towards the pages.
Overall, a decent buy. I'd like it more if it were more like the oversized nightshirts I imagined it to be so I can walk around in it.

I've always wanted a snuggie. Informercials dont really give you an accurate information... for instance is too long that it basically sweeps the floor when your walking ( i know what your thinking, its suppose to be long so that when you lay down its covering your feet, but then it gets dirty... ) the sleeves are also long ( what if i wanna make popcorn or I need to do something like grab a drink or making soup... the sleeves eventually get mixed in the food, the width is too long to pull your sleeves up) its a great product... if your laying down. it isnt made for standing up.. oh and it doesnt have a clip or something that ties around you so it stays put. So when you get up... it'll definitely come off unless you wrap it around you... but yes, it does keep you warm, its cute. am i able to hold on to the remote without freezing my arms, yes.Customer Review: doesnt work for me

I bought the leopard snuggie, I weigh 160 pounds, couldnt get it around me, to small, and it was way to long, I am 5 foot 4 inches tall, It shows them walking around in it, I wouldnt be able to, then when I layed down that was nice that it was long, but it wouldnt go around me and that made it so i couldnt work with it to well, plus the material is very thin and I didnt get warm from it, my boyfriend tried it also , he said this thing is worthless, I took them back that evening on the day that I bought them and got my money back. We live in southern california and during the time I got it , it was about 40 degrees at night, I could not get warm with this, its not warm or snugglie. Dont waste your money, and the time it took me to buy them and then take them back.
