I purchased this product because i thought that it would be soooo much better than the $39 humidifier that had previously purchased. Note, that there was nothing wrong with the old one. I simply lost track of it one summer. When I went looking for a new one, i was a little concerned about bacteria accumulating, and that is what drew me to this one. I also liked the color. I figured that it would blend in better in the room. Honestly, it is just very similar to the one that i purchased the last time from a drug store for $39. The main difference is that it is black, it has the filters and it makes a humming noise even when it is turned off. It produces the same amount of mist, it is roughly the same size container of water. I assume that the noise is relative to the electricity activating the antibacterial. And, since it goes through all the water in a single night, bacteria is really not an issue. I like this product ok, but had I to do it again, i would have saved the $70 and gone with a the drug store white one.Customer Review: Great humidifier, Great Value!

I purchased the cool mist ultrasonic humidifier because my apartment gets so dry in the winter time. I already tried one of those other humidifiers that works by a fan blowing up against a filter that absorbs water from a tank. Unfortunately that humidifier was more trouble than it was worth; it required constant cleaning, made too much noise, and really didn't humidify the room as well as it could have.
I was pleasantly surprised by this specific humidifier! It was silent, sent out a visible fog of water particles, and efficiently went through an entire tank of water. In just one night of usage I was already breathing easier, felt my skin rejuvenated, and slept better. I would recommend this humidifier to anyone.

Great product. Very quiet and efficient, but I wish I had bought one with a built in hygrometer. With this one I have to keep adjusting the knobs so the room stays where I like it (at 50%).

Read prior reviews, and decided on this product. Glad I did! Works great and is extremely quiet... actually can't hear it at all. My girlfriend decided to get one for her place after seeing how quiet and effective it is. Puts out a lot of cool mist. On high mist setting, you will need to refill 1-2 days, but easy to do. After one winter season of using this humidifier, it just stopped working altogether. Customer service walked me through possible fixes with no results. He then transferred me to the people who arrange for returns and I was stonewalled there. They took my email address and told me someone would be in contact but it never happened. I called again and after many apologies I was told that someone would contact me by email to arrange for return. Never heard from them. Unbelievable for a product that is supposed to be top-of-the-line.
