Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Aerolatte To Go, Milk Frother, BlackCustomer Review: Fantastic Frother! Summary: 5 Stars
I've never tried to froth my own milk before and after watching a friend use hers, I was almost doubtful that it would work, as her milk did not froth that much. Gotta tell you, this little gadget is great. It frothed my milk so well it reminded me of the stiff peaks from a really good egg white beat. A 1/3 cup of milk nearly overflowed a 16oz coffee mug. And boy did it last. I had leftovers and when I came back a few hours later it had barely fallen. The carrying case is primo. I took it up to my in-laws and they were so impressed by it that they asked if they could keep mine. Looks like I'll be ordering another one soon. Thanks to Amazon for the quick replacement when the first case received damage during shipment.
Customer Review: Fantastic product! Summary: 5 Stars
I'd never owned a milk frother before and bought this based on other favorable reviews. I can say I was not disappointed at all. It is great at doing what it claims to do (ie frothing milk) but in a pinch, I used it for whipping heavy cream and was impressed that it worked quite well. I bought several as gifts and everyone else has been equally happy. The travel case is a nice addition for storage.

I bought first to froth milk for my cappuccino, but now I also use it to mix all kinds of drinks, great product, highly recomended.
Customer Review: Flimsy and fragile Summary: 2 Stars
Wow, what a disappointment.
I bought this frother at a local shop to replace a Bonjour Cafe Latte Frother which, while it was still working, had cracked due to a fall and required some twisting to get the batteries to make contact every time. Once the batteries on the Bonjour made contact, though, it still whizzed powerfully and made great frothed milk, even after 3 years.
I'd read such great reviews here on Amazon that I was enthused about the Aerolatte, but I'm afraid there's no comparison. The Bonjour (the one with the wavy disc at the bottom, Amazon ASIN B000TTQYHA, not the one with the coiled wire at the bottom) is solidly built, with a thick and sturdy stem that never bent. It also takes 4 batteries (we use Eneloop rechargeables), so it spins with twice as much power.
The Aerolatte is built like a typical generic frother with a thin, flimsy center stem. It rattled from day one. It started out making very good froth very quickly, just like the Bonjour. But now, about 40 days since I purchased it, the central stem is slightly warped or bent, despite very careful use and storage in the travel case. So now we have to switch it on, use our fingers to coax the stem into the center position, and hold it just so... in the hopes that it'll spin fast enough to whip up some foam. And it rattles so loudly now, it sounds like it's about to fall apart.
I'm going to buy another Bonjour Cafe Latte Frother to replace this, because after less than 2 months our Aerolatte is already on it's way out.
If you're looking for a non-battery-powered frother, we've also had the Bodum Shin Bistro 4-Ounce Milk Frother, which makes very nice froth as well. But the disadvantages of that one are that all the extra cleanup takes more time and effort, and you have to handle it carefully so as not to burn your hand.

Great little gadget. Love that it comes in its own box for travel. More torque then I expected and really hads a froth is done properly.
