The Aerolatte product with the new secure travel case goes everywhere with me and also is very handy in the kitchen. I love a good cappuccino whipped up with the aerolatte but have discovered that eggs whipped up with it make a very fluffy and tasty omelet. Our old stainless steel model frother was on its last legs so I found this one on Amazon. It works great and other than getting used to the new switch location so I don't splatter myself, it is perfect. The switch has a momentary and full on position, another nice feature not in the old one. As with the old one and any like it, you must be careful to keep from bending the wire whip. I was using a small espresso maker with a steam frother, and I held off on buying an Aerolatte. I finally got one and I'm sorry I waited. It works great - much better than the steamer! It's really important to heat the milk which could be problematic if you don't have a microwave oven or don't want to heat milk on a range top (I wouldn't) but I just heat my half-and-half in a little pitcher in the microwave while making my coffee, then Aerolatte it which is a lot of fun, and the result is awesome. I won't ever use my espresso maker again; I much prefer coffee from my Cuisinart drip coffee maker with frothed milk.
