Customer Review: 20$ are you EFFIN kidding me????? Summary: 1 Stars
this type of things cost 2$ in your local ikea (sold by name of Produkt)
I read most the above reviews and looked at the images closely....its the same thing and the battery life mentioned in reviews is consistent with the battery life of my frother bought for $1.99 from IKEA. so i am guessing its the exact same motor in both of them.
Customer Review: 5 stars but these are $1.99 at 1kea Summary: 5 Stars
This is an unbelievably effective product and I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended it. Using 75% whole milk 25% half & half it produces a heavy silken foam that FAR surpasses any steamed milk foam. In my view, this is the only way to get proper micro-foam results - it's dense and rich and will not collapse the minute you touch it like the junk we pay for at Fivebucks. Many barista's are no doubt foaming at the mouth to object to these statement but remember this is only my personal opinion! I'm very picky about the performance of everything I buy and this device FAR exceeds all my expectations. I run two at a time and use high quality 2700mAh rechargeable AA batteries so I'm maximizing their performance but one alone is just fine. The milk spends one minute and 30 seconds in the microwave then one minute frothing and it transforms into creamy lustrous heaven in a cup. Even as a VERY finicky value-driven consumer, I would probably buy it at this high price (about $15 here currently on Amazon) because it works so well but I want everyone to know that the EXACT same unit is available at 1kea for $1.99. The only difference is an all gray finish (no satin). I pick-up an extra every time I pop into 1kea just to make sure I'll always have one as it will forever be a lifelong coffee ritual necessity!
Customer Review: A Terrific Frother Summary: 5 Stars
Since purchasing this product my lattes have never been better. I enjoy also using it for smoothies. My latte machine doesn't always do a perfect job of frothing. This small appliance finishes the job in style. A good friend has one and has used it for 2+ years and recommended it to me. I'm really enjoying it.
Customer Review: A handy tool at the right price Summary: 4 Stars
For the longest time, it never occurred to me to get something like this. It was a nuisance to froth milk from the spout off the side of my espresso machine, just as it was to clean. So I stopped and just went without the foam, which is fine. But when I discovered this product on Amazon and read the reviews, I thought I'd try it, and sure enough, it works as well as everyone says. I'm also looking forward to try it for a milkshake, so it's good that this can help with several different things.
If I had to make one criticism, and it's minor, is that the on/off switch isn't as intuitive to the touch as I think it should be. You can operate it by pushing it in either direction, and sometimes with just the lightest touch or push. The button is spongy and sensitive. It should be more precise. But at the end of the day, it works as it should and I can find little fault with that. I'm very glad I bought this product and recommend it.
