We've been using the BonJour Frother, Automatic Battery Powered Primo Latte with Stand, Silver/Black for at least four years and loved it. Unfortunately, it recently wore out (it gets used 5+ times every day). When I searched for a replacement I could not find the same model that could ship quickly. I saw the Aerolatte and decided to give it a try even though it was more expensive. WOW! It appears to have a significantly stronger motor, feels more substantial in your hand, the stand is studier, more practical and very attractive, and it froths like a fiend! I'm delighted. I have given the Bonjour model as hostess gifts in the past but will be switching to the Aerolatte from now on. Everyone who has received a frother as a gift raves about it so I'm sure the Aerolatte will be an even bigger hit.
We use frothers for everything from making lattes, mixing hot chocolate powder for a creamy treat, stirring chocolate syrup into milk completely (no more reservoir of brown goop at the bottom of the glass), "de-lumping" tomato soup (mini immersion blender!), and dissolving sugar in tea so it is evenly sweet from first sip to last. I bet it would do an awesome job of mixing formula right in the bottle. The wand is long enough do the job even in my travel mugs and huge kitchen mugs. A simple rinse under warm water or a quick froth cycle in warm soapy water and it is ready to go again.

Just tried this and it's so easy. Being a fan of Starbucks Caramel Macchiato's, I wanted to be able to make a Java treat at home, but was a little skeptical. The Aerolatte Stainless-Steel Deluxe Edition Frother with Stand, Chrome was definitely not a disappointment. It was fast, easy and created a creamy rich, not watery, tasting froth/latte. Best of all the frother is ready to use out of the box (after washing) and comes with batteries. No need to search for 2 AA batteries or run to the store for some, it comes with 2 AA batteries, ready to use and make a delightful drink. Also, the stand is a great convenience to keep the frother accessible and keeps coffee/beverage area neatly organized and nice to look at. Unsure if success was a result of using different coffeemaker. I used unsweetened silk creamer , with some coffee I had- La Procope by Gevalia (which was unimpressive using mini Cuisinart) coffee with AeroPress Coffee and Espresso Maker Aerobie. Great combo. The latte was creamy and quite impressive. A treat which only took about 7 minutes to make.Customer Review: Froth Froth and Froth

I just received this item and used it a few times. I am very impressed with the foamy froth produced by this small appliance. I had previously tried a coffee/cappucino maker with a steam frother and it was awful. This little appliance makes my coffee just like the cafe ole I enjoyed while in Spain. It is so easy to use; I placed a small amount of milk (skim plus) in my regular sized mug, microwaved to warm about 20 seconds and frothed. Then I poured the coffee on top of the froth. There is so much froth it is still in the cup after the coffee is gone. Also important is it takes only a tiny space on the counter, the stand is perfect, would recc only to buy with a stand.
