Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Aerobie 80R08 AeroPress Coffee and Espresso MakerCustomer Review: AeroPoess Works quite well Summary: 5 Stars
The AeroPress has worked quite well for me for the past three weeks. It's simple to use and the directions are easy to understand. It's a snap to clean after use as well. As a bonus it easy to pop out the used grounds and save them for composting and as an acid soil amendment.

Not much better than a French press but a lot bigger and with more pieces. The minute grains do not get through the filter but that is a disappointment in espresso. The espresso quantities required to make a small double would consume a week's paycheck! Well, I exagerate, but I do better in other espresso gadgets. And coffee in a percolator tastes much better.

I've had mine for over a year and I notice that the rubber plunger must have shrunk because now the coffee seeps out of the top. I still like the concept - it just doesn't work as well anymore.

Easy to use; coffee less acidic so tastes great and healthier, cleans with ease, doesn't take up a lot of space. GREAT.
Customer Review: AeroPress Coffee and Espresso Maker Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this little manual coffee maker based on the great reviews, but I was skeptical. Well, the reviews were right. This thing works GREAT. It makes a double shot espresso that rivals my $400 high pressure pump machine! And it makes the espresso a LOT faster. I just followed the simple instructions and my first cup of cappuccino was perfect. It will make a regular cup of coffee, too, but I use it primarily to make quick shots of espresso. It is fast, simple, and easy to clean. Don't be put off by the cheesy look of this thing. This is a Plastic Fantastic Coffee Lover, and it costs just 25 bucks! What a GREAT invention!
