I purchased an AeroPress for myself late last year, largely due to the reviews I read on the web. At less than $30, how could I go wrong? I've been absolutely astonished by the quality of coffee this things brews ("extracts," actually). The coffee is always smooth, full-flavored and never bitter, even when I use the cheap decaf my wife buys (rather than the pure Kona I ordinarily drink).
I've purchased an additional two machines for my kids and when my son made his first Kona cup, he wrote me, "Dad, this is the most amazing cup of coffee I've ever had!" And he's had coffee all over the world. Now neither of the kids can drink coffee from anything other than an AeroPress. The gizmo really spoils you...
