I ordered a Avanti WD31EC Tabletop Water Cooler off a company on ebay. The price was right around what I was looking for and seemed to be a perfect size to be able to have it in my room.
I opened the package and setup the Water Dispenser on the table. I had a 5 gallon jug I placed on top. And immediately water started pouring out the sides and the bottom of the machine. Whether it was plugged in or not, it did not seem to make a difference. I brought the Avanti Cooler outside so I didn't make a further mess, and set the bottle atop the cooler, and after 1 min the whole 5 gallon jug was empty, completely drained out the bottom drains and the edges.
DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM. IT IS CHEAP AND IN MOST CASES I HAVE READ THEY REALLY DON'T WORK WELL. PIECE OF CRAP I WOULD SAY!!!!! It now lays out on my porch in pieces. Total WASTE OF MONEY! Next time spend the extra 50$ and get a real water tower.
