The alternative to buying the more expensive smart filter from G.E. has gotten smaller. The heavy mineral content in water delivered to the san Diego market is not being substantially reduced, by using the AquaFresh water filter. As a result, the taste between normal tap water and filtered water by AquaFresh is minimal.
