Customer Review: Actually works! But no carbon filtration for organics.

After trying several HEPA filters over many years, this one actually works. It's quiet and uses a mini version of 3M's filtrete furnace filters, so the replacements aren't quite so expensive. My son has stopped sniffling and sneezing so much at night. One thing it is missing is a carbon pre-filter, so don't expect any organics to get filtered out. This is pretty important, since it's the organics from your paint, carpet, cooking, etc. that will get you in the long run. The particulate matter will give you allergies and asthma-like symptoms, but the organics will give you cancer. Just check out the EPA's indoor air quality web site for more info. Still, getting rid of the PM is important, so five stars to an excellent PM filtration unit!Customer Review: Works very well

I really like this product I bought it for my Daughter who has Asthma and my newborn son who is a Heart Patient to help him breath better, and I am very pleased with it. It does clean the Air very well I do notice a difference in my Family Room. I like it so much I plan on buying another for my Bedroom.Customer Review: Very nice machine, well-balanced

I spent a great deal of time comparing different purifiers: cost, performance, ease of use, noise, filter replacement, etc. This unit is superb in every respect. The unit is large but is very handsome and blends in well with the room. It has a very smooth fan that is not too loud but but you can really feel it move the air. There is one filter to replace and they are not terribly expensive and easy to find. In short, I think this unit really meets my needs while being fairly inexpensive and, over the past 6 months, 100% reliable.Customer Review: only because its 3m!

i received the product.....looks great at my condo and is very quiet. but i dont know if it's doing anything. im assuming that it is because it is from a trusting brand, but i dont see a big difference from before this 3m purifier and after. when i look at the filter itself, it doesnt seem like it trapped that much dust. was it because it was tossed around at ups and it doesnt work as well now? either case, i am happy that we did get the product for some reason.
