I just received one of these today and have only used it a short time but thought I would give my impressions so far.
Out of the box the fan is pretty much what I expected and it does work as advertised. It's battery powered and it also has an input for an mp3 player or ipod. It's not very big and not very powerful but I didn't expect it to be. The low speed is fairly quiet, probably quiet enough to sleep to, and generates a slight breeze. The higher setting is a little noisy and generates enough air to cool a small space but it's still a bit on the weak side. I bought it to use camping and I think it would really help in a stuffy tent or camper. The mp3 input has a separate on/off switch and volume control and the tiny speakers sound ok, actually better than I expected, and there loud enough to drown out the noise of the fan without distortion. Overall I'm pretty happy with this little fan so far. The only thing that I'm worried about is that the fan is constructed from cheap plastic and I foresee something eventually breaking. Most likely the grill as it's very thin but we shall have to wait and see.
